Sports Website Redesign in WordPress

A redesign that turned an aging sports website into a faster, mobile-friendly, easy-to-use WordPress site, rebuilt with WPBakery Page Builder to improve usability, performance, and content management.

Completed ahead of schedule and I am incredibly impressed with the level of detail and commitment to quality work. Communication was great and complicated items were handled smoothly. Would hire again and highly recommend.
Upwork Client
Project overview

The brief

The client wanted to modernise their sports website by replacing its outdated design with a clean, responsive, and user-friendly WordPress site. The scope included a new header and footer, a contact form with email integration, migration of existing content and images, and fixes for mobile responsiveness problems inherited from the old templates.

The goal was to improve the user experience and make the site easier to navigate, manage, and maintain.

Our solution

What we built

We first reviewed the existing site to identify usability, design, and performance issues, then worked with the client to settle on a design direction. Once the design was approved, the site was rebuilt in WPBakery Page Builder, keeping the existing content while improving the layout.

The work included a custom header and footer, a fully working contact form with email integration, uploading and organising content, fixing mobile responsiveness, updating outdated templates, and creating new pages where needed. Performance optimisation was applied to make browsing faster and smoother on all devices.
