The site of the client was slow because of oversized images, excessive JavaScript, and unnecessary CSS, which hurt page speed, user experience, and search performance.
The goal was to improve speed and Core Web Vitals without changing the functionality or design of the site.
Our solutionWe compressed and converted 2,477 images to the WebP format, reducing page size while keeping image quality, and optimised JavaScript and CSS with WP Rocket to remove render-blocking resources.
We also configured Perfmatters to remove further bottlenecks. The result was an 88% performance score on mobile and 99% on desktop.
