An AI-powered RSS news dashboard that gathers stories on women's issues, culture, politics, and current affairs from multiple trusted sources in one place.
Freelancer was given a very difficult task that he was able to figure out how to complete in a timely manner.
The client wanted a WordPress news website focused on women's news, where visitors could read the latest updates from several trusted sources.
They needed a clean, fast, easy-to-use site that stays current without manual publishing.
Our solutionWe built a responsive WordPress site on the Kadence theme, generated custom RSS feeds from the preferred sources with RSS.app, and connected them to WordPress using WP RSS Aggregator.
We also built a custom plugin that runs cron jobs every two hours to fetch the latest news and show the 25 most recent headlines on a dedicated news page, keeping content fresh while reducing ongoing maintenance.
